at the Ria Formosa
Casa Bela Sombra lies in the middle of the nature reserve Ria Formosa in a huge garden of 2400 yrd2 with mainly subtropical and tropical plants. The location is quiet and lies next to a pine forest – the garden has a fence all around as well as trees and plants which give you privacy and protect you against views from outside.
A very homely leisure residence, with 1600 ft2 living space and thus comfortably suited for 4 to 8 persons.
This house is built solely by materials used in organic architecture and is hence ideal for allergic persons. Next to other aspects a main emphasis was laid on a good isolation, optimal use of the natural light conditions for the rooms and building techniques that are typical for the area – all of this creates a pleasant "climate" in the rooms.
A walk to the wadden sea takes you only 5 minutes.
Casa Bela Sombra has a homely living room with a dining table, a sofa (convertible for sleeping), an inserted wood-burning fireplace, a CD-player and satellite-TV.
Many books and games for the young and the young at heart are available for our guests.

The kitchen is spacious and perfectly equipped with an electric cooker and oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, refrigerator, orange juice extractor and many things more.

Casa Bela Sombra has 3 bedrooms, two of them with double beds and one with two single beds.

Casa Bela Sombra has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. There is also a shower outside.
To the south and west Casa Bela Sombra has roofed terraces with homely dinettes and a barbecue.
From the roof terrace you enjoy a gorgeous view on the ocean and the Sierra, deck-chairs invite you to relax.
The house is surrounded by the huge lush garden with many palm trees and tropical plants.

There is a washing machine in the house and we provide our guests with beddings and towels.
The house has central heating system and a solar heating system.
Children are cordially welcome – and dogs as well.
